Bridget’s path to real estate was not a straight line—and that is part of what gives her work its perspective.

She grew up in Paris and Asia, spent more than a decade in the Los Angeles music business, lived deeply in the equestrian world, worked in education, sales and marketing, and clinical research, and eventually built a real-estate career around properties where architecture, land, history, and use matter as much as an address.

The common thread is curiosity: looking closely, understanding how something works, and recognizing what gives it individuality.

Paris, Asia & an Early Eye for Place

Growing up among places shaped by centuries rather than decades leaves a particular impression: buildings carry memory, materials matter, and landscape is rarely incidental.

Bridget grew up in Paris and throughout Asia, with family ties to Ireland. That international childhood created an early familiarity with architecture, craftsmanship, history, and the idea that a house belongs to a larger cultural and physical setting.

It is a sensibility that remains visible in the properties that hold her attention today: historic houses whose original details still matter, country homes that sit naturally within the land, and places where age, workmanship, proportion, and setting cannot be separated neatly from value.

A Decade in a Business Built Around Presentation

Before her real-estate career, Bridget spent more than a decade in the Los Angeles music business. It was a very different world from Central Virginia land and historic houses, but one with its own lessons about presentation, timing, communication, promotion, and the difference between simply being visible and being memorable.

Those instincts would later find a quieter expression in real estate—particularly in the way a distinctive property is photographed, written about, sequenced visually, and introduced to buyers.
